Training Day is designed for any church leader excited to learn and grow. Our keynote sessions are designed to offer encouragement and ideas to equip you for the year in ministry. These sessions are not ministry-area or position-specific. Anyone engaged in making disciples will benefit from attending Training Day. We encourage churches to bring a team of leaders so that they can learn and dream together. Those attending in person at the host site or a satellite location will benefit from conversations and networking with other churches and leaders as we all work to make disciples in our communities.

Those who attend Training Day in person at Floris UMC (with an In Person ticket) will be asked to select from 8 Afternoon Workshops while purchasing their ticket. A list of those workshops can be found on the Workshops page. Our Video Library is a selection of more than 25 mini-workshops. These workshops have been prerecorded and are on a number of topics most of which have been offered at previous Training Days. In Person and Virtual attendees have access to the Video Library beginning at 3 p.m. on January 11. Satellite Ticket holders can add on the Video Library for $20 after purchasing their ticket(s).

The Northern Virginia District is excited to partner with the Mountain View, Three Notch'd, and Valley Ridge districts. Anyone from across the Virginia Conference (and beyond) is welcome to attend Training Day virtually, in person, or at the satellite location that is most convenient. While we can't add additional locations at this time, if you'd like your district to consider partnering with us in the future, please let us know so that we can pass that information along.
